The island of St-Barths

 The size of the island of St-Barths is 21 square kilometers (9.27 square miles).

St-Barths has a population of 10,464 inhabitants, who are commonly known as “St-Barths”.

The climate in St-Barths is tropical, with warm temperatures and two seasons: the dry season from December to April and the wet season from May to November.

The Nicole Aussedat Nature Reserve was established in 1996 and encompasses the following marine areas:

• Les Gros Islets and Pain de Sucre
• Île Fourchue
• Les Îles Frégate and Toc Vers
• The northwest part of St-Barths (Anse de Colombier and Île Petit Jean)
• The northeast part of St-Barths (Petit Cul-de-Sac, Grand Cul-de-Sac, Anse de Marigot, and Turtle island)

Morne du Vitet is the top peak on St-Barths, with an elevation of 284 meters. It is located in the eastern part of the island, "upwind".
