Bucket Regatta, a worldwide renown race
Named after the Brugee, a triangular-shaped flag alternately hung on the competing yachts, and the Bucket, a flat-bottomed boat with masts and sails, the Bucket Regatta gathers some thirty participants from March 16th to 19th 2023. Since the first edition which took place in 1995 and then brought together four competitors, once again the world's greatest yachts meet in Gustavia.
A unique show, as the race gathers prestigious participants such as champions, billionaires, sport lovers and international stars.

An extraordinary show around Saint-Barths
Accessible exclusively by invitation, the race can however be watched from several places on the island, to discover the huge yachts competing on the sparkling waters. Gustavia's harbor master's office, Fort Carl, as well as the roads around Flamands, Pointe-Milou and Colombier beaches, are the right places from which you can enjoy the extraordinary spectacle of the Bucket Regatta.

The Bucket Regatta in St-Barths is also a cultural event, with many festivities during three days and nights. Music, gastronomy and parties are organized during the competition, bringing together racing enthusiasts and St-Barths’ lovers.

Each year, the Bucket Regatta offers a contribution to a non-profit organization to promote its values. This year, the Youth Sailing Program of the St-Barths Yacht Club (SBYC) has been selected.
The race also holds the certification by Clean Regattas, an independent organization which selects nautical races with respectful environmental values.
